Chintpurni Temple is one of the Shakti Peethas. it is one of the most revered shrines dedicated to Goddess Chintpurni, also known as Maa Chhinnamastika Devi. The name “Chintpurni” means “the one who removes worries (chinta)”, and devotees believe that sincere prayers offered here free them from anxiety, fear, and worldly troubles. The temple is one of the important Shakti Peethas and forms a major part of the sacred pilgrimage circuit of Himachal Pradesh. Devotees believe Goddess fulfills wishes and removes worries.
